Ducal park

Project details

The project concerned the restoration and enhancement of the Ducal Palace, which is subject to constraint. Due to the serious loss of a large part of the park, the intervention was not completely restored, but was oriented to the criterion of evocation. The technical choices developed have sought to integrate historical aspects with contemporary needs, aesthetic considerations and environmental and economic sustainability, so as to guarantee access to every category of people. The design criterion adopted focused on the reconstruction of the plot of the avenues, which divided the park into three functional parts: the secret garden, the park with the parterre, the rose garden, the open-air theater and the playground, and finally the belvedere and the stone labyrinth.
